Dormant Account
What is a dormant account or dormancy fee charge?
When there are no transactions made with your Dash account for 12 months or more, Singtel will designate your Dash account as a dormant account, whereupon a monthly dormancy fee of S$2 (includes GST) will be charged to and deducted from your Dash balance. If the account continues to remain dormant for another 12 months with no transactions made, Singtel may terminate your Dash account. Please note that logging into your Dash app is not considered a transaction.
I received an SMS/email on an upcoming dormancy fee charge. What can I do?
You can use your Dash app to make a transaction. Alternatively, you can withdraw the remaining balance in your Dash wallet. To do so, ensure that you have verified your identity and registered for PayNow on the Dash app - you will see a registration screen in the Dash app requesting your acceptance for PayNow. Next, select 'Send Money' on the homepage of your Dash app, choose either 'Bank / Wallet Account' or PayNow and fill in the details to withdraw the balance in your Dash wallet.
Bank / Wallet Account: select 'One Time Transfer' and key in your bank account number
PayNow: select any of the preferred options (e.g. Mobile number) and fill in the required information
