What is 7-Eleven cash top-up registration (KYC) and where can I register?

7-Eleven cash top-up registration (KYC) is a verification process carried out by 7-Eleven for customers who wish to top up their Dash mobile wallet at 7-Eleven. It is a requirement from Singapore's Payment Services Act, regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, to help keep money transfers safe and prevent misuse. To register, visit https://www.7-eleven.com.sg/kyc to submit your details. You will also need a valid government-issued photo ID (e.g NRIC, work permit) during submission.

You'll receive an email from 7-Eleven once your registration is approved, . Please resubmit if you did not receive it after 3 working days and ensure that you have provided a valid email address.

Is there a fee when I make a top-up to my Dash account?

From 1 August 2024, a fee of 2% will be charged for each credit or debit card top-up. This applies to all top-up transactions, including auto top-ups. From 11 October 2022, a S$0.50 fee applies for all top-ups made at 7-Eleven, Sheng Siong $TM and Singtel Prepaid retailers.

No, all top-up fees are non refundable.

Where can I find my transaction records for top-up fees?

If a 'convenience fee' is applicable to the selected top-up channels, it will be reflected in your transaction history.

How do I pay for the credit/debit card top-up fee?

The convenience fee of 2% will be added to the total amount that you wish to top up. For example, if you wish to top up S$100, the total payable will be S$102.

When were these credit/debit card and 7-Eleven/Sheng Siong $TM outlets top-up fee charges informed to customers?

Customers are informed of these convenience charges since 19 July 2022 via a variety of channels. They include the Dash top-up page/ inapp push/ email/ SMS.

Why is a fee charged for top-ups using credit/debit card or at 7-Eleven/ Sheng Siong $TM/ Singtel Prepaid retailers outlets?

The fee will go towards offsetting the top-up cost imposed by the providers and enhancing your Dash app experience.

How do I pay for the 7-Eleven, Sheng Siong $TM, Singtel Prepaid retailer top-up fee?

The S$0.50 fee will be deducted from top-up amount. For example, if you top up S$100, you will receive S$99.50. Your transaction history will show S$100 Dash Top-Up and a deduction of S$0.50 Convenience Fee.

Is it compulsory to save a credit/debit card in Dash in order to do a top-up via credit/debit card?

No, it is not compulsory to save a credit/debit card. However, this will help save time and effort to re-enter your card details when you’re making a top-up again.

Can I save a credit/debit card in Dash without doing a top-up?

Unfortunately no, this is not available at the moment. Your credit/debit card details can only be saved upon completion of a top-up to your Dash account.

Why is there no One-Time Password (OTP) from my issuing bank when I do a top-up using my saved credit/debit card?

An OTP is only required if the credit/debit card used to do a top-up is not saved.

Will I be able to see the top-ups which I did via my saved credit/debit card in my transaction history?

Yes, all top-ups done via a credit/debit card will be reflected in your transaction history.
